Damak Ilham · Kuala Lumpur
Crafted for You.
Rooted in Heritage.
Bespoke Malaysian couture — contemporary Kurung, Kebaya and occasion wear, cut and finished by hand in our Kuala Lumpur atelier.
The House
A Malaysian fashion house for the quiet ceremony of dressing well.
Damak Ilham creates contemporary Kurung, Kebaya, dresses and occasion wear — each piece drafted, cut and finished by hand. Our work carries the embroidery, lace and textile traditions of the Malay archipelago into a modern, understated silhouette.
Every commission begins with a conversation and ends with a piece that exists for one person only.

Our Craft
The hand is our first instrument.
Sulam kerawang cutwork, hand-sewn beading, appliquéd lace and gold-thread sulam — techniques handed down through generations of Malaysian artisans, practised daily in our atelier. A single bodice can carry sixty hours of needlework.

Bespoke
A piece that begins with you.
From the first conversation to the final fitting, your commission moves through six unhurried stages — drafted to your measurements, composed in your chosen cloth, and archived so every future piece begins where the last one ended.
